104.1 CHYFM Launches Get Involved Membership Program to Strengthen Community Engagement 104.1 CHYFM, Coffs Harbour's youth community radio station, is excited to announce the Get Involved Membership Program to be launched on March 1st. Throughout the entire month of March, people can take advantage of a special discounted membership fee of just $10.
The primary aim of the Get Involved Membership Program is to foster a sense of ownership and engagement within our vibrant community. As we celebrate our 50th year of broadcasting, 104.1 CHYFM recognizes the power of collective action and shared responsibility. 104.1 CHYFM serves as a valuable platform for expression, dialogue, and positive change, made possible when the community comes together.
Angie Vaughan, Station Manager of 104.1 CHYFM, explains, "We have recently undergone significant improvements and upgrades to our operations, governance, and administration. With state-of-the-art broadcast studios, industry-based training and mentoring, and an influx of young voices behind the mic, sharing their stories and amplifying youth perspectives, we are committed to keeping the community connected."
Becoming a member is simple and convenient. From 1stMarch, visit the 104.1 CHYFM website, complete the membership form, and securely make your payment. Upon registration, all 104.1 CHYFM Members will receive a membership pack comprising a membership card, bumper sticker, and badge.
In addition to contributing to the station's growth and sustainability, 104.1 CHYFM Members will enjoy various benefits. These include exclusive discounts at select retail outlets and services, invitations to special Members-Only events, access to advanced movie screenings, exciting on-air giveaways, and more.
During the March Membership Drive, every new member will automatically be entered into a weekly draw for fantastic prizes. These prizes include a $200 JB HiFi voucher, a thrilling Coffs Harbour Trike Tour for two, an enthralling Wajaana Yaam Stand-up Paddleboard Adventure Tour for two, or an exhilarating HWH Stables horse ride for two. Everyone who joins in March enters the major prize draw for a private in-water dolphin experience for four at the Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, valued at $1200.00.
